The spring selection in the drop down are the only Steeda springs we recommend using with the Active line of dampers. The Steeda Active line is our most comfortable damper offering touring car ride and sports car handling. For multi-driver households, the Active DIFM kit is a spouse approved upgrade.
Our new DIFM line of pre-assembled Mustang shocks, struts and springs save you the hassle of having to rent a dangerous spring compressor or going to a local shop with your old struts to install old used components onto your new struts. The DIFM arrives at your door as an all new and ready to install assembly. Your old strut assembly remains intact for possible future re-install or resale to another party. After installing on your Mustang, you will need to take your car to the nearest shop for alignment to avoid tire wear. All lowering springs require realignment after install due to suspension geometry changes.
With our convenient kit you do not have to to dis-assemble your old OE struts to reuse the bump stops, dust covers, coil spring isolator pads and bearing plate. The DIFM kit includes all new OE components in addition to Steeda upgraded components. Our bump stops are trimmed length specific micro-cellular poly foam for lowering springs and provide the softest cushion on hard impacts. Our bearing plate, dust boots, coil spring isolator pads, and other parts are genuine Ford OE parts. Of course the struts, shocks and springs are all Steeda premium quality upgraded parts.
Steeda recommended upgrades such as adjustable camber plates and stronger rear shock mounts are located in the options menu for owners wanting the absolute best handling and steering performance.
