BBK designed this Shorty X-pipe with high-flow catalytic converters to provide a significant increase in horsepower and torque over the restrictive stock catted pipes. Increases of 14 to 22 RWHP have been seen when installed in conjunction with BBK Long Tube Headers.
This free flowing BBK x-pipe not only increases power, but it also adds a crisp raspy, race car growl to the sound of your exhaust with its modern "X" crossover pipe design.
BBK's X-pipes use a free-flowing 2-1/2-inch diameter CNC mandrel bent aluminized tubing and a merged X crossover to improve flow. And features High flow catalytic converters to provide a significant horsepower increase over the restrictive stock cats.
This BBK Shorty catted X-Pipe is designed to fit the 1979 to 1993 5.0L V8 automatic Mustangs, including the LX, GT and SVT Cobra models with BBK Long-Tube Headers installed.
