Though installation of the Ford Performance Off-Road Steering Wheel is simple, additional parts are necessary. These are the readily available hub steering adapter and quick-release adapter, also manufactured by Sparco. Also, if you wish to retain any of the factory steering wheel button functions, a custom wiring solution will be necessary.
This steering wheel is NOT an approved replacement for the OEM steering wheel in your Mustang. It was designed, and is intended for off-road use only. Installing this part in a vehicle that is driven on public roads or highways is likely to violate local, state, and/or federal regulations.
