Having a car that handles well when you're hugging those sharp corners daily driving or at the track is essential to performance. BMR's Red Drag Lowering Springs have been created to lower your Mustang 1.5 inches, give you a smooth ride and lower the center of gravity. These components not only give your ride that sleek and aggressive muscle car stance, but also allows for better handling. BMR created these springs to crossover between drag and daily driving. The springs are soft enough for the track and to give you a comfortable ride but provide enough support to keep the body of your ride flat through those hairpin turns.
With BMR's lowering that feature a 1.5 inch drop to your ride. Good news too, these springs won't sag over time. Normal, stock springs have a tendency to wear out, sag and get rusty. Fortunately, BMR offers a solution to that. All BMR springs are made from chrome silicon high tensile wire. They are then wound on a CNC coiling machine, then compressed twice to give the springs a permanent set. BMR does this to ensure that over time your Mustang will still have that aggressive, lowered look no matter how much you drive and show it off.
BMR makes sure to give the customer the best product as it can. As mentioned above, BMR compresses their springs twice and with this permanent set, helps to fight sag for the future. The springs are also stress relieved at 750 degrees F to make sure that most of the stresses that are prone to happen during the winding phase are gotten rid of. As an important step, BMR computer tests every spring made to ensure against spring sagging thus allowing you to keep that sleek, lowered look of your Mustang. BMR is also able to boast that all their lowering springs are made right here in the USA!
