The central centrifugal supercharger is accompanied by a high-output charger cooler, high-flow fuel pump and air inlet system. Vortech's V-3 kits feature a self-lubricating system with an advanced impeller design to deliver massive horsepower gains without causing unwanted excess noise. This system will take your Mustang's factory horsepower from 260 to 402, and the torque from 302 ft/lbs. to 400 ft/lbs. That is quite a bit of extra hidden power that will now come to the surface for better performance all around. Note that this V-3 kit can handle up to 775 horsepower applications, and its oil only needs to be changed during your Mustang's regular maintenance intervals.
This Supercharger Kit is designed to be used on stock applications, as Vortech will only provide a tune for the stock motor with stock exhaust or most aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems. If your vehicle is no longer stock and has been upgraded with an aftermarket throttle body, cold air intake, headers, off-road mid-pipe, etc..., Vortech will not be able to provide a tune for your modifications. Modified cars will require custom tuning. Also vehicles with ECU codes of RKN or MDE will not be supported by Vortech, custom tuning will be required for operation.
