This Ford Racing Double Hook Quadrant is designed to fit the 1982 to 2004 V8 Mustangs equipped with a manual transmission, including the LX 5.0, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and SVT Cobra models.
The unique Double Hook design of the Ford Racing quadrant allows you to adjust the feel of your clutch pedal with either a firewall mounted adjuster or an adjustable clutch cable, unlike other quadrants on the market today that only have one type of adjustment mechanism.
The stock self-adjusting clutch quadrant is made from plastic which has been known to bend and sometimes break. This unwanted quadrant flex can cause inconsistent clutch engagement and missed shifts. But a Ford Racing "Double Hook" quadrant is cnc-machined from solid billet aluminum so it won't flex even under the hardest shifts.
